The Dial-A-Favorite Music Box is an internet-enabled music streaming device with a very simple interface: one knob, which can be switched to one of four possible playlists. It is designed to be as simple and approachable as possible.

I am a 15-year-old homeschooler with an interest in making. One advantage of homeschooling is that it gives me more opportunities to pursue my personal interests. Along with the Dial-A-Favorite Music Box, I have recently been working on developing various illuminated articles of clothing and jewelry, as well as an internet-enabled chess set. Most of my projects spring from interests I have and problems I want to solve in my daily life.

What inspired you to make this project?
I decided to make this project because I wanted to streamline the process of picking music to listen to. Once I had drawn a couple of sketches, I thought it was funny enough that I should try to make it. Most of my projects are just based on things I do in my daily life that I want to improve or optimize in some way.
