Northampton Community Television is a community media center and public access TV station. We equip our community to create multimedia content such as television and web videos, by providing equipment, training, and expertise. We’ve become a nationally recognized leader in redefining community and public media, winning more awards than any other station nationally in the last five years, including best community media organization in the US in 2016. Our mission is to serve as a model community media organization providing programming and educational opportunities to the community through all means technologically available.

What inspired you to make this project?
We were inspired by the need of communities to access technological fluency as a means of expression, which supports the fundamental human need for the development of personal and communal identity.
